Andrew Gillis Andrew Gillis is a native of Ithaca, NY and a graduate of Cornell University. He has been photographing the local landscape in black and white with a 4 x 5 view camera for over twenty years, and has shown his work widely across upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania. His photographs are in the collections of the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, Borg-Warner Automotive, Tompkins Trust Company and numerous collectors. He directed the White Apple Gallery in Ithaca for most of its twelve year history, co-founded State of the Art Gallery in 1989 and co-founded the Greater Ithaca Art Trail in 1999.Since 1990, Andrew Gillis has owned and operated Cascadilla Photography, where he has specialized in high quality commercial and architectural photography, with a particular emphasis on fine arts documentation. His work has been published in regional and national publications, including American Craft, Ceramics Monthly and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Cascadilla Photography is located at 207 Elmira Road in Ithaca, New York.
